Hi, I have an Asus Prime Z370-a motherboard. It has a male connector for a "1 x 5-pin EXT_FAN(Extension Fan) connector". I assume the cable needed is a 5-pin female connector to connect to the motherboard and then it should have a 4-pin male connector to connect a 4-pin fan to it. In one of the softwares I downloaded from the Asus website, it allows me to control three "extension fans". So, I assume you are supposed to connect three 4-pin fans to the "1 x 5-pin EXT_FAN(Extension Fan) connector".
I can't find a cable like that anywhere. The closest I could find was a cable designed for Dell computers, but it didn't fit my motherboard, the connectors were too wide.
