OK so this is my very first custom build. Its a bit of a Frankenstein but it works. Im not a gamer on PC so it doesnt need high end top of the line. I use it for more my home media center.

My problem is, I recently purchased a gently used 2nd hand COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP but the brackets they provided does not quit sit properly centered on the CPU. I have tried many variations and bracket setting. but still does not sit centered and the brackets are clearly not the way they are intended to sit. I do not think they provided the AMD 2 brackets in this sale. but unsure nothing is labeled... I have the speed adjuster at max and it still spikes to 80+ Degree C. The cooler works fine and i have good thermal paste, but the heat temp. spikes all the time for little tasks like opening Youtube and other streaming sites. If I have more than 2 tabs open it spikes quickly. I am looking online everywhere to find the correct mounting brackets for this model. I do not know if there are any universal, or if it has to be specifically Cooler Master. Any help I can get to find the proper mounting brackets would be greatly appreciated.

My Desktop specs: Its a Frankenstein so dont be to harsh on my first build LOL...

OS - Windows 10 Pro
DESKTOP CASE - VIVO ATX Mid Tower Computer Gaming PC (CASE-V02)
CPU - AMD A-10 6800K
HEAT SINK - COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP
RAM - 6.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 532MHz
MOTHERBOARD - Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2
GRAPHICS - No graphics card YET... Integrated graphics is 768MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 8670D (Gigabyte)
HDD - 3TB Western Digital WDC WD30EZRZ-00WN9B0 (SATA)

I believe the heat spike is due to a poorly seated Heat sink its DEF. not the right brackets and I just would like to get the right mounting parts I dont even care if its a universal parts... If you have any suggestions could you please post links, photos, and names so I can locate them.. Thank you in advance...!!!!!!!!!!

What would be some suggestions on coolers so I can browse around. If they are as low as you say I could purchase one today. I like my setup for what I need so until I am able to upgrade to a DDR4 setup i would like to kep this running optimal. so any coolers you can point me to would be great. Thanks for the quick reply!!!

OK, CRYORIG - M9a 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler it is...!!! in cart checking out right after sending this. Thank you for taking the time to provide choices. I can build them but I am new so knowing parts brands and quality is still a learning curve. Even though my pc is a little outdated it was still cost a bit to put together so just want to make sure it lasts till my next build. Thanx again have a great day..!!!
