can't find this old game

There was a game i LOOOVED to play when i was a kid, and i just can't figure the name to download. It was a hover tank game, that i could choose weapons and kind of tank, and there was teams with diferents tanks, i guess. it was 3rd person view, by behind. I was sure the name was something like Hover Tank, but i guess i was wrong. I bought the game in a game magazine about 1998~2005 i guess

it's not any of those. the game wasn't exactly a Tank game, like the real tanks, but a "hovered something that look like a polygoned tank"

EDIT: Even if that's not it, Recoil is an incredibly awesome game

no, its not recoil. The tanks of the said game haven't any contact with the soil, they are all hovered tanks.

I wonder if it's the one I'm thinking...
The game was in 3rd person, with the camera being set behind and over the top of the tank. You chose a tank and a team to play in, and played inside some kind of 3D polygon-rendered city or something.

I too can't recall the name of it unfortunately...

Most part of it was in plains or something like small mountains. I recall small buildings that acted like bases, but not cities.

it was a game by itslef, not a mod of anything, neither battlefield.

I searched by some pictures of Battlezone, and maybe it is it. I will download it and to confirm it, but i guess not...

NVM, I eventual found mine. It was "Hover" and it was in 1st person rather than 3rd, sorry for getting things off track 😛
