Question Cant find Usb in boot option

Hello, I just got a new pc, and it didn't come installed with windows. I have go a usb and installed windows onto it, however when I'm in bios, the usb isn't showing in the boot option. what do I need to do so I can boot my pc from my usb

Yes I just plugged it into a different pc and it registers as 58 gig usb, but doesn't show in bios

Not really related, but when you are installing Windows, you want only ONE drive connected. HDD, SSD, whatever.

What did the other PC show you what was on the disk? Maybe start over with the creation tool made from the other PC you used. Uncheck Optimize for this PC.

So my pc arrived, it automatically booted into bios and neither SSD or HDD has windows installed - so I installed windows on my usb stick - this is what's in the usb folder -

Looks like a bootable windows installation to me. Maybe someone else can chime in. For now maybe reinstalled the correct media creation tool installation disk.

You don't "install" windows on the USB.
Rather, you build the USB to install Windows onto some internal drive. Preferably the SSD.

No.

Either a faulty flash drive, or you've done something wrong in the creation.

You will have to refer to the BIOS menu in the manual if there is one. Is there a BIOS update for your motherboard? Make sure it is up to date.

Look in the bios for a CSM option whatever state it's in flip it.
Reboot and see if it makes a diff.

Seagate Expansion HDD - that is your USB boot device.

Make sure, you disable Fast boot.
And if you want to boot in UEFI mode, then set Storage Boot control to UEFI.
