I understand, it really doesn't seem like a good situation. (Oops, my bad, I didn't notice the info about the drives above the partitions).

Even if the drive is recognized by Disk Management, you should still give it a try with a different SATA port and different SATA cables, or even better - with a different computer. At least it's a good thing that you don't have any data left on it, which you might have needed. So go ahead and try running the extended test (preferably when you have the drive connected to a different port, with different cables), although I should warn you that it might take a few hours since it's a 2TB drive and every single sector is scanned.

Would you please let me know if there are specific errors popping up...
Hey there, Codrea.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HDD. Would you please post a screenshot with Disk Management without the error message as I can't quite see the info about the drive, but it seems like it says that the partition is RAW. This means that the file system is not recognized. Did you have any issues with the drive prior to those problems? Any unusual sounds/noises coming from the drive, unusual transfer speed, etc?

I'd recommend that you try the HDD with a different SATA port and different cables, to see if the same thing happens. You should also download DLG (Data Lifeguard) and run both tests (Quick and Extended), to see if there's anything out of the ordinary with the HDD. Here's how to do it: How to test a drive for problems using Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows.

You could also try the drive with a different computer if possible.

Please let me know how everything goes.

Thanks for Quick reply

Yes it's raw and can't be used to store data/movie at all. Try to format to ntfs still no luck.

I have try lifeguard diagnostic, fast test is pass. Haven't try the Extended test.

I read in forum guy with some problem with me he do write zero in full and solve his problem.

I also try to run write zero but it have eror, do you want to continue? I click yes, and then eror appeared again asking continue with no end so I cancel it.

Haven't try different SATA cable, but it detected in bios and Disk Management perfectly.
