Cant get above 30fps on Vizio 60' M60-C3 TV with HDMI 2.0 cable! HELP!

My brother has a pretty powerful gaming pc (i7 4790k cpu with a MSI GTX 980 ti GAMING gpu) and cant get above 30FPS on Rainbow Six Siege even though he has a HDMI 2.0 Cable plugged into the HDCP 2.2 support @ 60hz HDMI slot in the Vizio 60" M60-C3 TV. We have changed from ultra to medium and it still doesn't go above 30FPS. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using a DVI to HDMI adapter and make sure you set the refresh rate in your Nvidia control panel to 60 hz. That is what I had to do with my 980ti the HDMI ports on it did not support 4k 60hz.

Thanks for the tip about the Nvidia Control Panel! It was set at 30hz in the Nvidia Control Panel and changed it to 60hz and it worked perfectly thank you!
