Question Cant get any display on GPU and Red LED gpu indicator on

hi,I get a red light when i plug in my rtx 5080, even when i try plugging in my old rtx 3070 there are red light LED indicators, everything posts and i can get into my windows 11, but only through my cpu's integrated graphics, when i try to run through my gpu display it says no display detected, my 3070 works fine on my original older pc tho, so im suspecting its my phanteks revolt 1200w psu at issue here. And i just figured id ask to see if you guys have any clue what it could be if possible around the psu, every cable is plugged in tight and bio's updated, im not sure if this should be posted in psu or gpu mainly due to i don't know what the core issue is, so sorry for that. Everything in my bio's is detected and works fine except for the gpu/gpus that i've tried i.e my older 3070 and the new 5080, any help would be appriciated thanks.


ps this is a new build with all new parts

1200 revolt plat phanteks psu with cablemod custom rt cables
aorus gigabyte x870e pro motherboard
samsung m.2 2tb 990 pro storage

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

You should be able to get display without a discrete GPU. Can you try and see what happens with the PSU's stock cables(minus the Cablemod cables)?

motherboard bios version is f3h, and i cant use any other cables on that power supply because it doesnt come with its own cables its a model thats cableless and you just buy the recommended cables through cablemod.
