I have an HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 b119-wm.
This laptop was loaded with Windows 8.1 when I bought it from a friend.
Since then, quite awhile ago, I've been using Windows 10 professional, which I acquired some time ago from being an insider and running the preview. No problems.
Two days ago I decided I'd like to dual boot both Windows 7 Pro, and Windows 10 Pro, so I backed up all my personal files, and I cleaned as well as formatted the drive.
Windows 7 Pro installed fine, but wouldn't update and I went through a whole ordeal to fix that up.
The copy now updates properly as intended, but there are three drivers that I just don't know what to do about.
--------------------------------------
- Ethernet Controller
- SM Bus Controller
- Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
--------------------------------------
For whatever reason, the Ethernet controller driver (that I downloaded from HP's site) is not functional for me. The two USB 3.0 ports on the side of my laptop do not function, and the obvious answer is the lack of the USB Controller driver.
Any help is super cool.
