So, my old Gigabyte motherboard died on me. I ended up getting a new PC, but wanted to still fix my old one. I bought the following motherboard-

Asus Q87M-E Socket LGA1150 Q87 MicroATX Motherboard with I/O Shield

I got it off of ebay. I had an older socket type, so it was hard top find an affordable replacement. I didn't want to spend a ton on a backup computer.

I used to run two GTX 570s in SLI. Since I got the motherboard in, I have been able to boot it up using the onboard graphics, but no luck with either gtx570. It doesn't seem to see them. I finally got it to boot with an ouput from the lower card, but then it wouldn't get past the bios screen. (I think that's the correct term.)

Suggestions? I may try swapping card locations. Both cards worked fine before the motherboard failure. Perhaps they got banged while they were out of the case. Anyway, I'm open to any ideas. I'd like to at least be able to use one of them.

Truth be told, no idea how... ?

But I can Google it!

You mean how to update BIOS ? EZ Update is a utility that allows you to automatically update your motherboard's software, drivers, or BIOS. Check the motherboard's CD. With this utility, you can also manually update the BIOS and select the boot logo that will display during POST.

Though, if you cannot boot your OS when the GPU is installed, then use any external USB flash drive to update BIOS.

Please make sure your motherboard supports AI suite 3 functionality, because EZ Update functionality is included in AI suite 3.
