Hello everyone, recently i bought a new monitor (Asus VG279Q1A) which supports 165hz frame rate. I did every single step to reach 165hz with my graphics card but it cant get over 144. (Amd radeon RX 580 Series)
On the Radeon Software i have created a new Custom resolution, and changed the frame rate from 144hz to 165hz, but when im going to select it on the Advanced display settings, screen turns black then blue with a ' No HDMI signal ' message. Then it turns back to 144hz. Now, i do have the latest updates on my graphics card, monitor is with Hdmi cable plugged in, and there's nothing else in my knowledge to do :(
Thank you for your time.

I think you will need to use display port cable
Well im so silly. As the monitor arrived it had the DP cable in it, but i thought it was Hdmi, so i left the old one plugged in, cause im lazy to cut off the tyraps. I changed it to the DP cable and it works fine now. Thank you !!
