Question Can't install/boot Windows on M.2 SSD while it is visible in the bios ?

Hello,
I recently build a new computer and have a hard time with the M2 ssd.
First I only had that ssd (Lexar NM790 SSD 1To M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe 1.4) in M2_1 slot of the , when I was trying to install Windows it was always crashing but bios was saying it is running fine (made the ssd test).
Then I plugged in an old 500go sata ssd and managed to get windows on that.

After that I manage to get Windows on the M2 but noticed that the EFI system is on the SATA (I got two bootable windows, one on sata, one on M2 but no EFI on M2)
Then I follow a tuto to create/copy EFI system on the M2, managed to do that but I still can't boot from in the bios, it just does not appears in the bootable device list.
Any idea what I could do to solve this?

its possible its a bad nvme. BIOS seeing it but windows having problems could point at that.

bios was saying it is running fine (made the ssd test).
Your bios has a ssd tester?

what motherboard do you have? nvme drives won't appear in sata listings as they are pcie

boot off the ssd and try running crystaldiskinfo - blue icons - https://crystalmark.info/en/
it will auto scan drives and check them out.

Yes it has an ssd tester.
And when booting from SATA, the m.2 ssd behave totally normal. So it appears to run as it should
