Hey friendos. So I bought a 3060m 12GB and it is looking super weird. First off, the label behind it says it's a 3060 12GB, not 3060m 12GB.

I installed it on a Xeon machine for testing, hooked to a TV via the HDMI cable.
Even on post there were weird green lines on the screen. And also on the desktop. Tho I believe it to be a problem with the resolution its displaying on the TV, since the print screens don't show any of the graphical glitches. First I tried installing regular drivers, and it prompted me that the hardware isn't compatible. Then I tried the frankendriver. It did install but the nvidia control panel wouldn't even install or open, prompting me "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU". And on GPU-Z it says my gpu has ZERO memory.

=/ I tried plugging switching to different video ports and none gave me video...

Based on everything, I would say this is non-genuine card with a modified BIOS. I know there are a few companies taking mobile GPUs and turning them into desktop cards, and based on the GPU-Z shot, that is what this is. 3840 Cuda cores with 48 ROPS is the mobile 3060, though typically this only has 6GB of memory. Since it is showing 0, not a great sign.

Also running really fast at 2100Mhz if correct. The boost value is a little high, but probably just taken from whatever vBIOS they started with.

Best bet would be to reach out to the seller to see if they have an updated driver link, which is usually really sketchy to begin with.

Yes its connected to the GPU.

I got it used, its probably from Aliexpress.

The system specs are:

Mobo: ZSUS-X79 VG2 Motherboard LGA2011
CPU: Xeon E5, 2650 V2
Memory: DDR3, 1x16GB, 1600MHz ECC
PSU: MSI MAG A650BN 650W
STORAGE: 1tb Puskill nVME

Oops, I've tried two drivers already, but I'm asking the previous owner for the bios he used.

But anyways, it's weird cause it's stuck at that weird resolution even on post.

Okay, so I gave it to my brother to test it at his PC. There he managed to get the card to run, but sometimes it wouldnt open windows and sometimes it would have the image with lots of crazy glitches and sometimes normal. But then it would freeze during graphics load. I tried running Uningine Superposition and it glitched out and the PC restarted.

Maybe it's a memory issue, maybe it's the chip itself?

It helped it stabilize. Using plyers I straightned up the plate wherethe display ports are. It managed to run games for over an hour but then it went kaput again.
