[SOLVED] Can't install Epic Games Launcher: Folder path "0"

Hi all,

For some reason i can't install the Epic Games Launcher. The folder path/ destination keeps coming up as "0" and i don't know how i can change it.

I've tried downloading a new installer. Deleting all files associated with Epic. Changing registry values/deleting registry values.

I don't know what to do short of a fresh install but don't think it's worth it.

it should look like this:

try redownload it?
if u dont see change button there, then u have/had it installed before and your registry might have some records on it
open regedit and search for "epic games", then delete all tree records
