can't install linux

Hello,
here the problem i have a old dell inspirion 510m i wanted to install linux on to it. i downloaded two kinds of distro(MINT 14.1 Cinnamon 32bit and Lubuntu 13.04 desktop i386) and i proceded to install them but i keep getting the error "Unable to boot - Use a kernel appropriate for your CPU"

Laptop Specs:

Processor-
Cache L2 cache - 1.0 MB
Front Side Bus 400.0 MHz
Chipset Intel 855GME
Platform Technology Intel Centrino

Memory-
RAM 512MB
Max RAM Supported 2.0 GB
Technology DDR SDRAM
Speed 333.0 MHz

Those won't work. Your CPU, which is an Intel Pentium M, doesn't support physical address extension or PAE. So you'll need a non-PAE kernel. I believe you can try the mini-ISO versions.

Thank you for the fast reply...excatly the answer to my problems...thank you. in my part im downloading " Linux Mint Debian - 201303 Cinnamon 32-bit" says in faq comes with 486 kernel for non PAE compatibility. will update and choose best answer after installation...

argh the "Unable to boot - Use a kernel appropriate for your CPU" error is now gone but i still can't procede with the installation. it get stuck at "setting host name" i seached around gogle. no one knows how to fix this.

like 1-2 hrs on the "setting host name" it doesn't proceed. it seems if i dont install grub it goes smoothly. i'm now trying crunchbang.
