Can't install new hard drive without Windows disk which was installed when I purchased lapop

I have a satellite laptop and my hard drive crashed and Igor a new one but I can't find my key for Windows 8.1 that was already installed when we purchased our laptop and I don't know how else to eat it going. Can I please get some help

You need to contact the manufacturer for Recovery media.

Key is usually embedded into the BIOS.
