Can't install Windows 10 off USB (Won't show in BIOS)

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 then went back to 7 and have now decided to reinstall Windows 10 for my job however, with the Media Creation Tool I had to borrow my sisters laptop to create it as it wouldn't detect the USB drive on Windows 7.

Now that the drive is created I am trying to get it to show up in the BIOS, I switched from legacy back to UEFI and now when I press F9 to show a list of devices the pendrive does no show up, do I need to clear Windows 7 off my SSD first?

do you have any other USB devices connected? have you tried another USB port?

Windows 10 using secure boot. you need to boot into the BIOS then disable the secure boot option.

Yeah have tried every port and tried with a different USB, odd though I've installed 7, 8.1 and 10 on this laptop using the same pendrive in the past

how did you put windows 10 on the pendive?

Via the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft Website, I also tried with Rufus but didn't work either, had to use my sisters laptop just to get it onto the drive

Try downloading Windows 10 on the pendrive again. You can follow the steps written on this website:
