Question Cant install windows 10 on NVME M.2

Hello,

I have just built my PC and I'm attempting a fresh install of windows 10 from a USB 3.0.
The specs are i7 9700k, 16gb of ram, crucial nvme m2 1tb ssd.

Whenever i try to install windows it freezes on getting files ready for installation or just as it completes this stage, freezes straight after.
Any advice or input would help.

Is the Crucial SSD the only storage drive you have connected? Is it brand new?

Which W10 version ? 1903 has problem with USB memory devices being connected during installation or upgrade. Disconnect USB drive as soon as it copies the files to SSD. That should be just after first reboot.

The device is a crucial brand new NVME SSD m.2
1tb.
When I launch windows from the USB, it copies over the files than begins to prepare files for installation. Upon reaching 100% it freezes. The ISO I used was downloaded last week from windows website.

Ok the solution was to update the BIOS!
