I have a little problem, well atleast my friend, he recently purchased a laptop with endless on it and managed to format the partitions so it doesn't have any os on it. The problem is those partitions aren't ntfs type so we can't install windows on it and there's also no way to format to the right type. What can we do now?

Solution
when you launch the windows install, there is a choice to manually decide how your partitions are set, simply select the partitions and delete them and select next widows will recreate new ones.

oh my god we're so stupid thank you

Yep.
During install, you will be prompted to "where do you want to install Windows?"

Whatever partitions you see, select each and DELETE them. Now your TOTAL and FREE space should be the same.

Continue.

have your e-mail + password for your W10? account ready... please not that if it had W10 prior and you are installing W10 again then:

a) use same e-mail + password as before for login (if you had one... i.e. MSN account)

b) don't use KEY, just skip during install

c) must install the EXACT same version (i.e. W10 64-bit HOME)
