Can't install Windows

I recently had a BSoD, and now my C:\ drive stopped working. I'm trying to install Windows again on my D:\ drive but I keep getting this message: "Compatibility report: The computer started using the windows installation media. Remove the installation media and restart your computer so that windows starts normally. Then, insert the installation media and restart the upgrade. (Do not select Icustom [advanced] to perform an upgrade custom [advanced] installs a new copy of windows and deletes your programs and settings.)".

I've looked for answers online but they all say to install Windows 10 from your current OS. Unfortunately, I currently don't have an OS.

You need to physically disconnect your C drive.

I tried to disconnect the HDD. Same results.

How many hard drives do you have? I said to disconnect the C: drive.

I have a C drive that was acting up so I took it out, that didn't work. Now I also tried to take out my D, same results.

Did you format your D: drive? Do a clean install of Windows 10.
