Question Can't log in to Outlook 2007

I've not been able to log into outlook 2007 on my laptop since before Christmas when I changed my outlook password on the mobile app whilst abroad
Settings have all been checked and password changed twice. I don't want to end up paying for 365. Any suggestions please?

and what is the exact error you are getting ?

It keeps asking for my password which is definitely correct as is the email address

what the email provider? try login on the web?

Hotmail.co.uk and I can log in on ms365 Outlook. Can't understand why I suddenly can't download them to my laptop

what the os? it is up to date?
sound like some secure certificate not up to date for it to connect.
there are other email client.

Windows 11 fully up to date. Think I'm going to have to use something else.
