I picked up a used Dell Latitude E6430 at an auction. It had a battery that was shot. I ordered an aftermarket replacement from Amazon. I put the battery in and it worked normally, charging, running the laptop with AC disconnected, etc. The problem I have run into is that when I try to boot from just the battery, even when fully charged, I will get to the login screen, enter my password and the laptop with crash and shut off (no power at all) just as windows begins to load. I can boot and load with the AC adapter connected just fine. Running Windows 7 Pro from an SSD. I have tried the following things to try to fix the issue but nothing has worked thus far-
Updated bios and E6430 drivers through Dell Support website.
Downloaded and installed all available Windows updates.
Reset power by removing battery, AC adapter and hold power button for 30 seconds.
Disabled Dell rapid charge in the bios.
Uninstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery drivers and reinstalled.
Cleaned the contacts in the battery compartment.
Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
