Question Can't overclock these rams on this motherboard?

Just build a new am4 system. Still can't overclock my rams. Specs:
r5 2600
asrock b450m pro4
g skill aegis 2x8gb cl16-18-18-38 1.35v (F4-3000C16D-16GISB)
whenever I set ram freq. on bios to 2933 or 3000mhz the system beeps 3 times after rebooting and gets back to ridiculous 2133mhz.
xmp 2.0 profile doesn't work too. Am I f**** up with this kit? Thinking of just selling this sh!#% and buying another one.

As from their site, its only QVL for intel z200/300 series chipset.

F4-3000C16D-16GISB is OC RAM so therefore XMP profile would not work as OC RAM at 3000MHz is beyond the JDEC standard so yes they would default to 2133MHz.
It does not mean they will not work however as with all OC RAM you will have to tweak your Primary Timings and Voltage in Bios to obtain their SPD.
It is also best to update your Bios if not already done so.
