Cant play Breath of Fire 4 on PC.

I recently tried to play breath of fire 4 on my pc, however when i run the game all i get is a blank white screen and audio.

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
4gb Ram
AMD radeon hd 6800 series
intel i5-2500k 3.3ghz

I have tried to run as administrator,compatibility mode for earlier OS and in 256 colors, still nothing though. Anyone saying its not possible to run on this spec, i had this game working fine last year on the same pc, i just dont remember how i got it to work.

Nope, all i did was re install the game

is the game installed from steam or cd?

did you tried a fresh install again? and did you installed all its redistribute packages?

do you find any game files in locations like my documents,local apps,program data etc? if so try to delete that

Nope its all installed correctly, i know the problem is something to do with the game being old (released in 2000), resulting in some sort of graphics error, as my card is too modern. However there is a solution, i just dont know what it is. And i dont want to play the game on an emulator.

sorry but this game dosent run on windows 7 and windows 8

Tried all of that before, sadly didnt work. And yes it does work, it worked on this machine with windows 7 last time i tried and it also ran on my old laptop with windows 7.

dude just use a emulator the pc version has lots of problems running on newer version of windows

You need to run it using your integrated graphics from your processor. Try right clicking the bof4.exe, click on "run with graphics processor" and choose integrated Graphics. Will work fine... its a old game. But I must say that some details like the particles that appear when you change from dragon state back to human state will be inferior to the ones you see in PSX (or at least in the emulators).

I cant find the option to run it with intergrated graphics, sorry for late reply, thought this thread was dead.

Breath of Fire 4 can only run on Intel HD Graphics or lower.
Or on what I observed.

Here are my experiences.
I once owned an Intel Core i5-430M with Intel HD Graphics and Breath of Fire 4 was able to run with it.
I once have an AMD R4 Graphics and Intel Graphics 4400 based Graphics, but when I tried to run Breath of Fire on it, it will only show a white screen.

I settled on a Intel Pentium G3260 for a desktop with Intel HD Graphics and that breath of fire 4 was able to run properly.

There are only two options to deal with the problem:

1.) Use graphics acceleration that is Intel HD Graphics or lower.
2.) Uninstall all graphics drivers and do not use graphics acceleration at all.
