[SOLVED] Can't read the data on my transcend external hdd, urgent help required.

Hi everbody,
I just bought Transcend hdd. Whenever I copy the data on it, it shows the space been taken on the drive but when i open the drive it shows empty. What i can do to solve this problem?

RMA or send back the HDD and get a better drive like western digital or similar

In File Manager or File Explorer, select the file tab, select 'Change Folder and Search Options', Select the View tab, put a dot in the 'Show Hidden files'folders' and drives' option and remove the checkmark next to Hide Protected Operating System Files'

See if you drive shows any folders or files now.
