Can't remove CPU Cooler backplate.

Hi,I have a mugen 3 cpu cooler for 4690k and my mb is z97x sli I'm trying to remove the cooler backplate to install a new cooler , but I can't get the screws off. Pic http://imgur.com/DinBtWS [1] I've tried with a plier and a screwdriver , but it didn't work. any help?

Using a Phillips screwdriver doesn't work at all or you don't have the correct size? Using the correct key and screwdriver should work.

It's not the screwdriver , It's the screw that tight so much to the nut.

You need to loosen the lug nut with the correct size key. You could use locking pliers, but be very careful not to damage the motherboard.
