have done a little research and some people are saying with Windows 11 24H2 this problem happens is because easyanticheat is a kernel level anticheat and interacts with the windows kernel. this checks hardware and software because it has to check on startup when booting the windows kernel (it checks the hardware and software connected), EAC is interacting with the kernel in a way that causes crashes, there are different versions of 24H2, and it could be a specific build, and it could just be the kernel that is crashing.

I have a few LiveKernelEvents In Windows Event viewer, when I crashed last night playing, is there any solution to this or simply wait for them to fix it?

I made a post before about another game I have this problem where I freeze/pc wont respond have to reboot.
So far I haven't done any resolution or testing, although I played a new game last night for the first time and experienced 3 of these unresponsive freezes/reboot in a total of 5 hours. All within 1 hour of each other give or take.
I am looking in event viewer today to give me some info but no idea what I am looking at, I really want to fix this its frustrating, rebooting, re invite to the game, its not fun.

So I am getting disk event id 158, disk 5-8 have the same identifiers as one or more disks...,
a ton of kernel event id's 6, 24, 55, 16, 125, 41
a few warning errors like 10016 and the 158

I don't know what to do with that info, I am basically useless but its extremely frustrating when you're enjoying a game for the first time ever.
So yes this does happen with other titles as well, I am going to be playing tonight regardless but I want to solve this
I also got a new power supply a bit ago the new rm850x, there is a low power dial or something on the back maybe I am running too low of power when the computer is warm/hot and doesn't provide enough to keep something running causing it to crash?

Ill look into it that, any help appreciated

I have checked the power supply knob
"The knob is to override the Zero RPM fan mode and adjust the minimum starting fan speed.
If the PSU temperatures require greater airflow, the PSU's fan controller will override the knob's setting as needed." - RM850x fan knob? - Reddit

I have adjusted it to spin the fan about 50% at all times, so it is off Zero RPM fan mode, Although it states it will override if needed.
Ill see if this changes anything tonight

I honestly cannot find that anywhere in display settings maybe you are still on windows 10, the forknife app isn't even in there anywhere for me, or GPU acceleration anywhere.

I had turned my power supply knob to the 50% fan speed, as well I noticed I have hot air blowing under my computer desk from a vent. Last night before playing I covered the vent, it had got a bit cold in my room by the morning so Im not sure I can keep doing this. I am going to test tonight to see if keeping the vent open with the 50% fan speed will do anything, although just from turning the knob it did NOT crash last night at all which I am happy I am getting somewhere. Will have to test other titles too

Making a reply to anyone who can close the post now, It was the Zero RPM fan mode on the new rm850x, I adjusted the fan to spin at all times by turning the knob on the PSU. haven't experienced any crashing or freezing what so ever after testing for several hours with multiple titles.
I have my vent open under the desk heating my room normally now too still no problems.
👍

Try disabling (if it isn't already) Kernel-Mode Hardware-Enforced Stack Protection, @ Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation > Then click "core isolation details"
