Cant remove disk from dvd

trying to eject disk frim a dvd player. nothing happens. Tray doesn't slide out

There is a manual eject available on optical drives. Insert the end of a bent paper clip into the small hole on the front of the drive and press in firmly.

If the tray continues to 'stick' closed, the drive mechanism that operates the tray open and closed function is defective. Just buy a new drive.
