Can't reply to posts?

Perhaps I am just missing something obvious, but when I attempt to post a reply to a message, I am blocked. The moment I click on the text box to begin typing my message, it closes. It leaves me with a dropdown to choose my answer from. This has to be some sort of bug. Has anyone else seen this, and if so, does anyone have a fix?

Don't press the "Post an answer" button until you've prepared your reply in the "Your answer" box.

Then click on "Submit your answer".
