My GF cant access control panel via right-clicking the start menu nor under windows system in the start menu... this is her info:

Windows 10 Home Single Language (20H2) OS Build: 19042.985

Can't right click on Start Menu
Nothing happens when she clicks Win+X
Nothing happens when she clicks Win+R
Can only access Control Panel by clicking on Start Menu then typing "Control" then clicking on Settings, then choosing apps.
Can't access the Add/Remove Programs feature from the classic Control Panel.

So we did a "local install" of Windows 10, she can now access the classic Control Panel through the search box, but everything else still doesnt work right.

Any suggestions? Thanks, you guys never disappoint.

Control panel doesn't exist as an option of the right click start menu menu, it has been replaced by settings - many of the functions in Control panel have been merged into Settings now, including add/remove programs, its now the Settings/Apps menu

search for powershell
right click on the application result and choose run as admin
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
and press enter

both commands fix windows. Might fix the missing menus as well as win r & win x
