Can't run games below specs, need help please!

Hey everyone,

I have had an unusual problem for quite a while now. For some reasons I can't run games which my pc should actually be able to run. For example: I saw someone on a forum with the same processor but a worse graphics card and he could run a game which I couldn't. I also often have problems with running games on low of which 'Can you run it' says I can run in medium or high graphics.

My specs at the following:
AMD Phenom II X4 965
Sapphire HD7770
8GB of ram
Windows 7

My graphics driver is also up to date, so that shouldnt cause any problems.

I am running on 64bits, 1920x1080.

Games I'm having trouble with:
Subnautica
Red Orchestra 2
Counter Strike Global Offense (I can only run it on low graphics althought I should be able to run much higher)
Company of Heroes 2 (Can't run it smoothly)
Planet explorers

and the list continues.. There is many more examples I can't think of right now.

I'm not looking to overclock, my issue is that with my specs I can't run games that I am supposed to be able to run, but thanks for the help.
