Can't see anything on the BIOS screen

I don't know exactly when this started, but whenever starting up my computer, instead of showing something like "Press F2 or Del to enter UEFI BIOS", it's just blank at first. I can still get into BIOS by pressing the buttons, but it's blank. If I press escape and then enter, my computer starts booting normally and I exit BIOS. If I use Windows' menus to be able to get it to boot into BIOS, it's also blank. If it matters, my specs:

H81M-D plus
2x8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
GTX 970 ACX 2.0 Superclocked
i5 4590
Windows 10 installed on a 1TB HDD

If removing the graphics card and connecting the monitor (not tv) to the motherboard, is it the same?

I tried unplugging my graphics card's PCI-E cables and using a VGA cable connected to the motherboard, but it still didn't work

Hard to say what's wrong, then. Not sure also if clearing the CMOS would worsen things instead of solving the issue.
