Can't see HDD in disk manager

I just got a pc and everything went fine except one thing. I cannot see my HDD in "This Computer" or Disk Manager. I can see my SSD which works fine and I can see the HDD in bios and Device Manager. It is a SATA HDD btw. I don't know what to do and this is so frustrating i need your help.

You need to format the drive in the diskmanager to NTFS or FAT (the same as the ssd) (if your are running windows)

right click start ( left bottom corner ) and it sais disk management.

than click on the drive (under volume) give it a letter and quick format it

Man but the thing is, I cannot see the drive in disk management at all. I only see my SSD

Might be a defective cable or bad sata port on the motherboard.

can you try to change that?

Yes I can try that, also, can it be about not updating the bios because i haven't updated it yet ?

Yup, just updated bios and it didn't solve my issue, feelsbadman

might be because there is some data on the hard drive, you could try to unplug the ssd and boot from the hdd.

Idk man I give up. I think buying a pre-built system was a mistake

it's odd that you can see the hdd in device manager but not in disk management.

try using drivers or software from the hdd manufacturer

try using cmd to format the drive - http://knowledge.seagate.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/005929en
