I have the ASUS M5A97 and the Ostrog eca3250 case. Both of them support USB 3.0. I found a big plug that says USB 3.0 on it and I'm not sure where this goes, help?

Thank you.

Solution
I got you. The case has USB 3.0 front panel ports. You're looking for a header on the motherboard to plug your 20-pin cable into. There isn't one. You motherboard doesn't have a USB 3.0 front panel header, it supports USB 3.0 through a pair of ports on the rear IO panel (next to the mouse and keyboard ports).

Huh, then would you know what this plug is then? It is a 10 x 2 (20 pin) connector and it is of black color. I did however already plug in two other USB connectors into two of the three USB ports.

Thank you.

Thanks!

Also, does this mean that the 20 pin connector wont be doing anything?

Not necessarily. Check the bag of goodies that came with your case, you may find an adapter that allows you to plug your 20-pin into either a usb 2.0 header or extend the cables to the back panel

e.g.
usb 3.0 to usb 2.0 header adapter

usb 3.0 rear panel to 20-pin header adapter

the ebay page and search as a whole which I randomly picked a couple of these adapters from
