Can't Start my computer

I change my motherboard into asrock n68 vs3 fx.My old motherboard needs ddr2 ram and my new one needs ddr3 ram,so i buy a new ram 2 gig kingston
and when i start my pc all i see is the mouse running and i noticed that when i start my pc the fan over the processor is running but suddenly stops

Specs
AMD Sempron 140 2.70 ghz
Asrock n68 vs3 fx
kingston ram 2gb

Hey im just asking what is the latest in this two motherboards?
ASrock n68 vs3 fx
ASsrock n68 s3 fx
Because the problem is the old mobo so i change my mobo into ASrock n68 s3 fx

They are almost the same. The s3 has additional PCIe X1 and PCi slot.

I you want to install additional cards to the motherboard, like audio, network, a.s.o.. you'd use those slots.
