Can't Sync Xbox 360 Controller with Wireless Reciever

I had a Xbox Wireless Controller lying around the house and I recently brought a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for PC and The Wireless Receiver came along with it.
I've been trying to connect that other controller but have failed.
The driver is correctly installed, I have pressed the button on top of the Xbox Controller but nothing happened.
