Cant type in my start menu with xp professional

when i click on the start my progrmas are gone, i cant type run or anything in.

System files corrupted or your computer may be infected with virus or other malware. Try to Windows System Restore to date prior to this error.

Run your Antivirus Scan. Do not rely solely on this scan. Recommend download of Malwarebytes FREE Antimalware scanner also.

Download & run unhide utility, as infection may have moved and hidden the folders.

Do not delete any temp / tmp / temporary folders until issue is resolved.
