Can't upgrade to windows 10? Please help ?

So ive been able to upgrade to windows 10 for a while now, but every time i have tried, it would start upgrading and then when my PC restarted it just goes back to Windows 8 and does not give me an error or tell me why it has not upgraded. why is this happening?

What's your hardware? Is Win 8 up to date? Do you have the latest mobo drivers and BIOS?

Make sure your current Windows is completely up-to-date. Also get the Windows 10 setup from Microsoft's website, it worked for me. Hope it works!

1tb hard drive
