Question Can't use an HDMI Switch on a LG C1, it works but won't load Windows

Yeah. The optical 20 meters cable works flawlessly directly from the computer. I just bought a 5 meter optical cable lol. If this doesn't work I give up and Ill be switching the cables behind the PC forever. lol

It is very likely your computer has some hardware fault. Possibly a bad ground connection related to the HDMI port, or something else like that. If the issue is happening with your mainboard's "onboard" HDMI connection, the problem is likely with your mainboard

I overpaid for a 5 meter HDMI optical cable. Overpaid hard. But now 30 minutes in:
5.1 audio from ARC check
4k @120hz check
HDR check
GSync check
Glitches not check

Everything works, I'm giving that 20 meters optical HDMI 2.1 cable to a friend of mine that could very well use it.
I've spent way more than reasonable just for not changing cables behind my computer, but it looks to be solved, omg! Months troubleshooting and trying everything! lol

20 meters feels like a lot; the longer the cable, the more likely you end up with one that has some issues at higher bandwidths. I try to limit my HDMI cables to 10ft for that reason. A 20 meter cable especially seems excessive.

I only bought the 20m one cause it was really cheap.... and it does work perfectly. Only not with the HDMI switch. But directly connected to the graphics card it does! 20 meters, HDMI 2.1. Amazing.
