Question Can't Use Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 RAM on XMP Profile 1 ?

PC model: HP OMEN Desktop PC 30L GT13-0000i (236B1AV)
BIOS: AMI F.30 BIOS

Back when I had the F.20 BIOS, it worked just fine. The RAM could run at its native clock speed of 3200 MHz using XMP Profile 1. I foolishly upgraded to the F.30 BIOS, as I was having some crashes last month. Now, if I set the RAM to use XMP 1 in the UEFI and save it, the monitor goes black and the machine does three long beeps and two short ones, indicative of RAM troubles. Then, it powers off for a few moments, a fail safe kicks in, and it returns to the default profile, which throttles the RAM at 2400 MHz.

Is there any way to get this RAM to work at 3200 MHz like it used to? Can you recommend any individual settings I could input in a custom profile in the UEFI?

I would try and clear the CMOS on the board and see if that helps your platform out. By my research I see that the chipset for your prebuilt's motherboard is a Z490 chipset;

so you should be able to comfortably do DDR4-3200MHz.

On a side note, have you tried swapping slots? If(going from left to right) you're on slots 1 and 3, then swap to slots 2 and 4.

I cleared the BIOS using the Win+V+Power method. I verified that it was clear by seeing that the time and date had been reset to defaults. I tried XMP again, still no joy. I reseated the RAM sticks in slots 2 and 4. When I went into the BIOS, it said it was using XMP 1. However, the clock speed is still 2400 instead of 3200.

If your Omen 30L is fitted with an Intel 10900K, it's only rated up to DDR4-2933. Changing the BIOS might have tightened the settings in XMP1. Either loosen the CL/CAS timings for each DIMM by 1 or 2 clocks cycles at 3200MT/s, or manually configure 3000MT/s and test.
