Question Can't use MSI game boost

Hello I am new to overclocking and I got a lot of questions and an issue. 2 weeks ago I bought AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and decided to overclock using x-amp and game boost, worked great till I decided to run a benchmark (cinebench) and got extremely hot temperature (111c) and made my computer shut down. Now every time I try to turn on game boost and x-amp it will boot to windows stay on for a few minutes and then turns on LED CPU on motherboard and then shuts down my monitors ( computer keeps running but I got no image and I can't turn it off on button). It still let's me use x-amp but not the game boost together. I'm afraid something happened when I used the benchmark. What could it be and how can I fix it ?

Specs: MSI b450 gaming plus
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
2x8 ddr4 3000mhz

What cooler do you have?

Turn off game boost. I never reccomend tools such as game boost as they can cause stability issues and are generally a very rough overclock that may cause lost performance in some cases.

Thank you for the answer. I'm using the normal cooler that came with the CPU. But after this issue of temperature I'm thinking of getting a cooler master hyper 212 Evo.
So I shouldn't overclock with game boost?

I would not reccomend overclocking with game boost, correct.

Refrain from any overclocking on the cooler that came with the 3600, as it is simply not up to the task.

The hyper 212 will lower temps and perhaps allow for some overclocking headroom

So I'll wait for the cooler before trying anything else.
Is there a way of overclocking the CPU without the game boost ?
