Hello, need some help getting my SSD to work, got an asus m3920 board and a crucial bx500 250gb.

installed with sata cable and everything correcty, the SSD shows up in device manager and bios but i cant find it in storage management so I can't assign a letter to it and use it as a drive

not listed under "my computer" either. Crucial's homepage says the SSD is compatible with my mobo

Solution
Right click on "Standard SATA AHCI Controller">Update driver software>Browse my computer for driver software>Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. If theres an "Intel" in there choose it.This is what we want to achieve.https://forums.crucial.com/t5/Crucial-SSDs/Replacing-Manufacturer-AHCI-drivers-with-standard-Microsoft-SATA/ta-p/176373
Dont forget to restart.

Open a command prompt as admin, run DISKPART, then type LIST DISK and see if it shows in there. If it doesn't then the computer isn't seeing it for some reason. I would then check Device Manager to see if it is in there but with a warning on it.
