Can't use USB keyboard pre-boot to access BIOS, plz some help.

The keyboard is a cheap Logitech K120 it doesn't require any drivers to work the mobo is a GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R I have a speaker installed & it makes a short beep during POST so there is no prob nothing is missing no error & there is nothing else connected other than my keyboard, so I am in the screen were I need to press DEL to enter BIOS but the keyboard doesn't work I try many times to reset the BIOS but what's the point the default setting in the mobo has "USB Keyboard Support" as disable, so what else can I do plz someone some help.

Which OS are you running? If Windows 8 or 10, you can reboot into the BIOS from within Windows by holding Shift and selecting "restart". Hold shift until the menu appears, then troubleshoot, UEFI.

You'll then reboot into the BIOS - where hopefully your keyboard works and you can change any required settings - your lack of USB initialization shouldn't count once you reach the BIOS.

If it still doesn't work, clearing the CMOS might help, but if the default is USB off, then it likely won't help.

Failing that, you'd need a PS/2 keyboard - but LGA775 boards should support USB keyboards natively & in the BIOS.

It's a new build I don't even have an HDD connected so I plan to do a fresh install of windows in an SSD 120 GB if/when I succeed to make the keyboard to work, how can I make it work plz some help someone I don't know what to do I stuck in the screen were I need to press DEL to enter BIOS but I can't without a keyboard... btw the KB working perfectly I have tried it already in some other PC.

I have already try to use a PS/2 to USB adapter this didn't help as for the other suggestion to use a PS/2 KB were can I find that.. they don't sell those anymore I must order it from somewhere from some e-shop & this means I must w8 for days to come.. can't do anything else? that's my only option atm?

The adapter certainly should work.... but failing that, you will need a PS/2 keyboard.

Do you have a local computer repair store? I'd bet they have one or two laying around in back.

You only need it to enable USB support in the BIOS.... but it would be helpful to keep one around. If your CMOS battery dies, it'll reset the BIOS to it's default state - requiring a PS/2 keyboard again to configure.

In the BIOS make sure "legacy options" in boot are enabled. You may need another keyboard to enable this if your wireless keyboard is not recognized. Also, try plugging the transceiver into a different USB port (don't use the blue one). Too, it just maybe a crappy bios on your system?
