Ok so I got bored one day and wanted more ethernet in my room for my desktop and laptops. what I did was set an old modem which was left by a old isp of mine to bridging mode and connected my ethernet to it from my main router. Then I connected the rest of the ethernet to all my other devices this works great. although i am trying to use the wifi form my main router the bridge disables wifi on the other one. on my phone and when I do I cant connect to websites or open apps yet I can still receive messages form telegram. also everyone else in my house is unaffected. when I turn off the bridge modem I can use my phone perfectly anyone any ideas of why this is happening or any solutions.

Solution
Sketch out your entire network from ISP entry point to your room and include all devices.

Check each component and verify its IP address, subnet mask, DNS Gateway, and if the device is either DHCP or static IP.

Only the main router should be issuing IP addresses via DHCP. Static IP's should set outside the range of DHCP assigned adresses.

The idea is to be able to look at the bigger picture and see if there is an IP conflict or some configuration error.
