Hello!
Recently, I was working on my pc and it suddenly shut down. I noticed that the motherboard's RGB lights were still on though. I looked closely at the motherboard and notices a brown/white-ish stain that appeared to come from the heatsink located at the top of the motherboard. This stain appears to have gone down to an IC and some other small components located to the top left of the CPU socket. I tried a few solutions but the computer would not POST and no fans would spin. However, the motherboard's RGB lights remained on whenever the PSU was on.
I have the AsRock X370 Killer SLI/AC motherboard.
Was this stain a leakage from a capacitor? If so, did it kill my motherboard? Or is there something else? Please do let me know.
Thanks.
