Car Ignition Powering up a PC....

As the title says, I was wondering whether you could place a car ignition system instead of a simple button or replacing the hard reset button with it? I saw someone doing it on YouTube but the video was quiet old...Did the technology change in anyway to stop things like that happening?
I think it might look nice on a well built case, don't you? 😀

Anyway? If it isn't possible is there anything remotely similar to this?

Are you wanting a car to send the signal to turn on a computer, or are you wanting to use a car key ignition switch to replace the power button?

Ok, the power button on a pc is a momentary switch. like the starter portion is of a car switch.

You can buy a replacement pc button to hack up, and wire the + end to the hot 12v wire of the car ignition switch, and the other end to the starter wire.
