I'm the process of updating my PC's specs in order to better run a wide range of games.

I'm not very informed on the ins-and-outs of computer upgrades or computer parts in general, but I was hoping someone could provide me with card recommendations, details on how to properly upgrade, and if the card will be compatible with my computer.

If any other parts are recommended to properly upgrade, please let me know. I will list all of my specs below:
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor
Number of Cores: 4
Video Card: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
OS: Windows 10

If any additional info is needed, let me know.

Please list all your components and what is the budget for the upgarde

CPU - AMD FX-4300
RAM - 8 GB
Motherboard - MSI 760GM-P23(FX)
GPU - AMD Radeon R7 200 Series

Tell me if you need any other information.
My budget is around 200 - 400 dollars for any part the widely improves PC gaming performance, which is why this was initially in the Graphics Card forum. I don't mind spending for other parts that I may have to upgrade to accommodate the upgrades, but if I don't need to overspend, I won't.

If you don't want to upgrade your CPU then the best suitable GPU for your built is 1050 ti, any above that will bottleneck with your current CPU. Also Upgrade your RAM to 16gigs

Are you ok with buying used? If so, your options expand exponentially.

With your budget between $200 - $400, I'd first take jitendrad's suggestion and upgrade to 16GB of RAM. A 16GB kit of DDR3 RAM for your MSI 760GM-P23 board is about $135 USD on NewEgg.

I tend to not worry about bottlenecking. In my opinion you shouldn't either. You can still get a lot of bang for your buck out of a modern GPU. With $250 remaining from your budget you can pick up a reference Vega 56 card on eBay. Vega 56s are strong out of the box, and have a ton of overclocking headroom (check out how-to videos on YouTube). A less expensive idea is a Radeon RX 580 8GB. Also a solid card, and a little less money. You can even pick up a Radeon RX 580 4GB for just $100 on eBay (my nephew games on an RX 580 4GB no problem).

That leaves you a little money for a 64GB SSD for your boot drive, which can be had for about $20 (in case you don't have one already). Convert your existing drive into storage/games. That will boost your PC's overall speed quite a lot, and with these 3 parts, you're set for a couple of years of gaming.
