Cards compatible for SLI with my GPU

Hello,

I purchased an ASUS GTX 670 from newegg back in 2013 and I was interested in adding another card for SLI. Unfortunately the exact card i purchased is either out of stock or very over priced.

Any recommendations on cards that would work well in SLI would be appreciated! I would like to spend around $350.

As long as you match the GPUs it will work even with different manufactures. So as long as you get another GTX 670 card it will work.

Here is a refurbed one at Newegg. You can mix brands as long as the GPUs use the same processor. These will SLI just fine:

Thanks for the quick response! In your opinion is the $179 price point (when run in SLI) for the refurbished model worth picking over the 970 for $329 in regards to performance?

SLI'd 670s would provide similar performance to a single 970. Also, keep in mind that 2 670's will produce more heat and noise, while consuming more power than a single 970. Adding a second 670 could require a new PSU as well.

If it were me, I would buy the 970 and sell the 670 to recoup some of the expense (or keep as a backup GPU).
