case and motherboard compatibility

Yes your board will fit fine, that case supports, atx, matx and itx boards.

Yes, it'll fit, unless the standoff holes on the motherboard were changed by MSI to not fit regular cases. The motherboard is micro-ATX, and the case is ATX, so technically it should support the motherboard, but since the motherboard is an OEM one, I can't say for sure because the motherboard standoff locations could have been changed slightly to fit only HP computers, in which case it wouldn't fit a regular case.

From the image on HP's website, the standoff locations do seem to be similar. I compared it to a regular micro-ATX board (using my eye), and the locations seem to be the same. If that is the case, then yes, that case would perfectly fit the motherboard. But how are you going to get one? That motherboard is an OEM board, which means they are only found in machines made by companies like Acer, Dell, HP, etc. You won't find them in stores, or any retail shop for that matter.

I own a prebuilt computer, https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-500-300-desktop-pc-series/6879020/model/6973326/document/c04324956 and I plan to make an upgrade onto it, getting a new case, GFX card, 8 more gigs of ram and a new PSU.
