I have the case which can be seen on the following images:

It's a very cheap case... It has a top-mounted PSU, which I plan to replace with (already have it, did not install it yet):

XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

As you can see... The PSU fan is on the bottom.

Being that the case is made for a top-mounted PSU, I don't if it's right to place it there with just the fan pointing down.

Also... I will be installing a new GPU also (to run with the aforementioned PSU):
SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 100370L Radeon R7 265 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202096

The only fan on the case is the one which can be seen on the side... I have the rear and the 2 bottom fan slots free. This case has NO front fan...

Please advice me on the best way to set up the case... I have some tools to make some modifications if they are worth it... My friends insist I buy a new case... But I already spent quite some money on the PSU and the GPU.

Thanks in advance

Solution
PSU fitted with fan facing down (will work as an extra exhaust),1x fan (big as the fan slot will take) in rear slot as exhaust.
1 x fan in bottom as an intake (biggest fan slot whatever size it takes)

You'll be fine mate - bottom intake will supply GPU with cold air, side intake will supply CPU.

Unbolt that silly black air tunnel from side panel if its removable (they do sod all)

Wow! Thank you both for the prompt response.

Won't the bottom fan on the case be too close to my desk (in this case) ? Does is it still take enough air?

And... I'm at work right now and can't check the manual... My question is, the fan on the PSU, is intake or exhaust??? Can that be changed? When I install the PSU on the TOP, the PSU will then blow hot PSU air into the case? Or suck it out?

Also,

Installing the bottom fan, will direct air towards the GPU fans (it has two) , won't they just collide?

Regarding the side fan, should i move it to the slot where the duct is? or keep it where it is?

If your case has feet (I can't see your images at work) a bottom fan will get enough air.
The PSU is exhaust. It pulls warm air from inside your case and blows it out the back. Do not try to flip it; your Seasonic-built XFX PSU is designed to work this way.

Thanks.

I don't know if you could read my last two questions, I edited the post and maybe you were writing the response when I was editing:

GPU fans tend to splash waste heat all around them; the bottom fan will help that heat on its way to the exhaust.
As madmatt30 suggested, remove that duct assuming it has screws; it does nothing for you.
I'd leave the side fan in the lower position (assuming from comments there are two places you could mount it).
