I recently took out a case fan from a pc that I'm not currently using into the pc I am using, it worked, then later in the day i was updating windows 7 then one of my brothers turned off the computer, the os crashed but I fixed the problem but now the fan doesn't spin. the fan is a foxconn d80sh-12, it is a 80mm fan that plugs into the motherboard, it has a 3-pin connector. I've tried it on the old pc, it spins right away when tuning on the computer, but it doesn't spin on the one I am using. Thanks.

In the bios i cannot find the option for that, and i only found 2 ports and they both dont work. Do you think that the fan will turn on only when the computer is hot, because i doubt since it turned on immediately after i plugged it in the 1st time.

Motherboard: Dell 0x8582
BIOS: Dell A03

I got a chance to update the bios, turns out im already at the latest update and still i can't change the fan speed, but i was tinkering around with speedfan and i found out how to change my cpu fan speed, but the case fan i plugged into the 3-pin connector in my mobo still won't spin, (its not even detected in speed fan but the cpu fan is now that i configured it), i tried both connectors, tried other things, it still wont spin?
